2019 "Duck Walk" Pinot Noir
Winemaker’s Notes: A wine built on the back of two excellent Adelaide Hills vineyards, a simpatico combination of fruit from Lenswood blended in equal parts with that of a wonderful Mt Lofty vineyard has resulted in a Pinot Noir both easy to drink and elevated in its supple fruitiness. Chewy cherry deliciousness. Go ahead; try it with a bit of Duck.
2019 Hydropath Society, Adelaide Hills, ‘Duck Walk’ Pinot Noir is a collaboration between Winemaker Tom Robinson and Artist Andrew Baines with the explicit goal of supporting our local SA hospitality industry. It takes inspiration from a difficult year, particularly for the local hospitality scene, and lifts off in ironic style as the beautiful brushwork of an original Baines’ painting redefines the particular predicament of being free, yet, somehow, tethered, all the same. Centrepiece is the courageous worker who walks onwards into a brave new world.
